• To upload your content you will need an FTP program (client). A wide variety of FTP clients are available for almost all platforms - popular ones for use on Windows machines are WS_FTP and CuteFTP.
• When you first log in to OneSquared's FTP server using your FTP client, you will automatically be taken to the root directory of your website.
• The first page you upload should be named index.html. You can delete or overwrite the current index.html as this is the temporary front page that you are reading now.
• OneSquared's systems are sensitive to upper and lower case filenames and directory names. For example, it is important that your first page is called 'index.html', not 'Index.html' or 'Index.Html'.
• File and directory names must not contain spaces or any characters other than letters, numbers, hypens '-' and underscores '_'.
• In your FTP program, upload your HTML and TXT files in ASCII/TEXT mode. Upload images in Binary mode. Many FTP programs will have an Auto-Detect setting that will select this for you.
